McConnell files cloture on MTP to Cal.#516, H.R.5325, Legislative Branch appropriations

During today's session, Senator McConnell moved to proceed to Calendar #516, H.R.5325, making appropriations for the Legislative Branch for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2017, and filed cloture on that motion. We expect this to be the legislative vehicle for the short-term CR.

We expect this cloture vote to occur upon disposition of S.2848, Water Resources Development Act.
