Motion to proceed to H.r.2810, NDAA

Following leader remarks, there will be an hour of debate equally divided on the motion to proceed to H.R.2810, NDAA. Upon the use or yielding back there will be a vote (voice vote expected) on adoption of the motion to proceed. Then we expect Senator McCain to offer the substitute amendment and Senator McConnell to offer the Paul amendment #871 (AUMF). We expect the majority to make a motion to table the Paul amendment around noon. Thus, we expect a roll call vote on the motion to table the Paul amendment around noon.
