Agreement on Moss and May nominations; Cloture filed on House Message to accompany S.1086; 2 roll call votes at 5:30pm on November 12th; 3 votes on November 13th
The Senate has reached an agreement that notwithstanding Rule 22, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., the Senate proceed to Executive Session and vote on cloture on Executive Calendar numbers 853(Moss), and 855 (May); further, that if cloture is invoked on either of these nominations, that on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at 2:15 p.m., all post cloture time be considered expired, and the Senate proceed to vote on confirmation of the nominations. Senator Reid then filed cloture and filled the amendment tree with regards to the House Message to accompany S.1086, the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 2014. That cloture vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.1086, will take place following the confirmation votes on Thursday, November 13th.
