Schedule for Tuesday, September 19, 2017
Following leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #105, Noel J. Francisco, of the District of Columbia, to be Solicitor General of the United States. Cloture has been filed on the nomination and will ripen one hour after the Senate convenes, at approximately 11:00am. If cloture is invoked, all post-cloture time will expire at 12:15pm and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination.
Following disposition of the Francisco nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
As a reminder, cloture has also been filed on Executive Calendar #176, William Emanuel, to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.
