At 1:55pm, the Senate began a 15 minute roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on McConnell amendment #2669 (Dec. 11 CR/Defund Planned Parenthood) to H.J.Res.61;

Following the failed cloture vote, we expect Senator McConnell to table the pending amendments with voice votes, offer an amendment to fund the government through Dec. 11, 2015, re-fill the amendment tree with date change amendments, and file cloture on the new amendment.
Following the vote, the time until 6:00pm will be equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees.
