Agreement on veto message on S.2040, JASTA

The Senate has reached an agreement on the veto message on S.2040, JASTA. By consent, at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader on Wednesday, September 28^th, the Senate will proceed to the veto message on S.2040 and there will be 2 hours of debate, divided between the leaders or their designees. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on passage of the bill, the objections of the President to the contrary notwithstanding (veto override).
