Cloture filed on motion to proceed to Mil-Con/VA appropriations

The Senate passed the continuing resolution through December 11, 2015 and the TSA Office of Inspection Accountability Act by a vote of 78-20. The bill will now be sent to the House of Representatives for consideration.

Senator McConnell then moved to proceed to Calendar #98, H.R.2029, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2016; and filed cloture on the motion to proceed. The cloture vote will occur on Friday, unless an agreement can be reached.

Next week we may consider the NDAA conference report and the Toxic Substance Control Act.
