By a vote of 50-44, cloture was not invoked on the motion to proceed to H.R.2029, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2016. The motion to proceed remains pending.
We expect Senator McConnell will file cloture today on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) conference report for a Tuesday cloture vote.
There will be no further roll call votes today. The next vote is expected to occur at 5:30pm on Monday, likely on a nomination.
