Lee request to pass Veterans only CR and objection to comprehensive continuing appropriations

Senator Lee asked unanimous consent the Senate take up and pass H.J.Res.72, making continuing appropriations for veterans benefits for fiscal year 2014. Senator Murphy asked that the request be modified to include a clean continuing resolution amendment. Senator Lee objected to the proposed modification  and Senator Murphy objected to the original request.
