Senate Floor Schedule for Wednesday, October 5, 2011
- Convenes: 10:00am
- Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in morning business for one hour with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each and the Republicans controlling the first half and the Majority controlling the final half.
- Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of S.1619, the Currency Exchange Rate Oversight Reform Act. As a reminder to all Senators, the Majority Leader filed cloture on S.1619 during Tuesday's session. As a result, the filing deadline for all first degree amendments to the bill is at 1:00pm on Wednesday. Unless an agreement is reached, this cloture vote will occur Thursday morning. Roll call votes in relation to amendments to the bill are possible during Wednesday's session.
