Cloture not invoked on MTP to H.R.2028; Executive nominations confirmed; Lankford objects to passage of S.2165

Cloture was not invoked on the motion to proceed to H.R.2028 by a vote of 49-47. The Senate then confirmed by voice vote the list of Executive nominations included below.

Senator Cantwell asked unanimous consent that the Senate take up and pass S.2165, permanent extension of the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

Senator Lankford objected to the request.
