Senate Floor Schedule For Monday, October 26, 2009
- Morning Business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
- As previously announced, there will be no roll call votes during Monday's session of the Senate.
- During his opening statement this afternoon Senator Reid announced that in addition to considering the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act of 2009, he also hopes to consider the Commerce-Justice-Science Appropriations bill and the Military Construction Appropriations bill. In addition, we need to pass a continuing resolution before the end of the week (the current CR expires Saturday, October 31). We also expect to pass a 6-month Highway Extension bill before the end of the week.
