Cloture invoked on Estevez nomination (Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense); Next vote at noon

Cloture on the Estevez nomination was invoked 91-8. By consent, at 12:00 noon today, all post-cloture time will be yielded back, and the Senate will proceed to vote on confirmation of the nomination. We expect a voice vote on confirmation of the Estevez nomination. The next vote in order will be cloture on the Archuleta nomination and that vote will occur at noon.
