Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the House Message to accompany H.R.1314, Debt Limit/Budget Act, with the time until 1:01am equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees.

At 1:01am, there will be a cloture vote on the motion to concur with respect to H.R.1314, Debt Limit/Budget. If cloture is invoked, there will be up to 30 hours of debate, with each senator permitted to speak for up to 1 hour. The hope is that there will be little debate prior to passage, but timing will be determined by how long senators plan to speak. If a point of order is raised against the bill, there would be a motion to waive prior to the vote on passage.

Friday, October 30 at 1:01am-Up to 3 roll call votes

1. Cloture on the motion to concur with respect to H.R.1314, Debt Limit/Budget (60-vote threshold)

2. Motion to waive Budget Act, if point of order is raised (60-vote threshold)
3. Motion to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment to H.R.1314, Debt Limit/Budget Act (majority vote threshold)
