Toomey objects to passage of SBC bills
Senator Shaheen asked unanimous consent that the Senate take up and pass Calendar #104, S.552, and Calendar #107, S.966, en bloc.
Senator Toomey asked that the consent be modified so that his amendment to S.966 be agreed to. Senator Shaheen objected to his request. Senator Toomey objected to the original request.
Cal. #104, S.552 - a bill to amend the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 for increased limitations on leverage for multiple licenses under common control.
Cal. #107, S.966 - a bill to extend the low-interest refinancing provisions under the Local Development Business Loan Program of the Small Business Administration.
