Convenes: 9:30am
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business for 70 minutes with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each with the Republicans controlling the first 40 minutes and the Majority controlling the final 30 minutes.
Following morning business, the Republican Leader, or his designee, will be recognized to move to proceed to the consideration of S.J.Res.6, a joint resolution disapproving a rule submitted by the Federal Communications Commission with respect to regulating the Internet and broadband industry practices with up to four hours of debate on the motion to proceed, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders, or their designees.
Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.647, the 3% Withholding Repeal Act with the Veterans' Jobs amendment.
