Cloture motions on THUD withdrawn / Senate passes H.R.3996, short term Highway Extension

Senator McConnell withdrew the cloture motions with respect to H.R.2577, THUD appropriations.

By voice vote, the Senate passed H.R.3996, Surface Transportation Extension Act of 2015 (December 4, 2015).

As a reminder, at 2:00pm today there will be a series of votes on nominations. We expect one roll call vote and the rest to be voice votes.
