Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 5:00pm.

At 5:00pm, the Senate will enter Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #214, Travis Randall McDonough, of Tennessee, to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the McDonough nomination.

As a reminder, during today's session Senator McConnell laid before the Senate the conference report to accompany H.R.1177, ESEA, and filed cloture on the conference report. We expect the roll call vote on cloture to occur on Tuesday, December 8.
