Passage of H.R.1402; Senate now in morning business

The Senate has passed H.R.1402, the VA Expiring Authorities Extension Act of 2013 by unanimous consent. The Senate is now in a period of morning business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each with the time counting post-cloture on the motion to concur in the House message to accompany H.R.3304, the National Defense Authorization Act.
