The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #369, Joan Larsen, of Michigan, to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, post-cloture. By consent, at 11:30 AM there will be 30 minutes of post-cloture time remaining on the nomination, equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Larsen nomination and the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Allison Eid (10th Circuit).
As a reminder, cloture has also been filed on the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #432, Allison Eid, of Colorado, to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Tenth Circuit
2. Executive Calendar #433, Stephanos Bibas, of Pennsylvania, to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit.
Each nomination is subject to a cloture vote and then, if cloture is invoked, up to 30 hours of post-cloture debate prior to a vote on confirmation. Upon disposition of the first nomination, there would be a cloture vote on the next nomination in the series and then, if cloture is invoked, up to 30 hours of debate.
