2 roll call votes at 4:15pm today (Robb and Wehrum)

The Senate has reached an agreement that sets up 2 roll call votes at 4:15pm today. At 3:45pm, there will be 30 minutes for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the Robb nomination (NLRB). Upon disposition of the nomination, there will be 2 minutes for debate equally divided before a cloture vote on the Wehrum nomination (DoT). If cloture is invoked on the Wehrum nomination, there would be up to 30 hours of post-cloture debate.

As a reminder, cloture has been filed on Executive Calendar #159, Derek Kan, of California, to be Under Secretary of Transportation. A likely scenario for the coming days would be votes tomorrow on confirmation of the Wehrum nomination and cloture on the Kan nomination, possibly around lunch time; and then on Monday at 5:30pm vote on confirmation of the Kan nomination and a cloture vote on the next nomination (TBD). Senator McConnell will likely file cloture on several additional nominations before the end of the week to set up votes for next week.
