The Senate has reached an agreement that at 11:30am tomorrow, Thursday, there be 30 minutes of post-cloture time remaining on Executive Calendar #300, Joseph Otting, of Nevada, to be Comptroller of the Currency, followed by a vote on confirmation of the Otting nomination.
Following disposition of the Otting nomination, the Senate will vote on the pending cloture motions with respect to the following nominations:
1) Executive Calendar #313, Donald C. Coggins Jr., of South Carolina, to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina; and
2) Executive Calendar #314, Dabney Langhorne Freidrich, of California, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.
If cloture is invoked on the nominations, the post-cloture time will run consecutively.
Thursday, November 16th at 12:00 Noon – 3 roll call votes
1) Confirmation of Executive Calendar #300, Joseph Otting, of Nevada, to be Comptroller of the Currency;
2) Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #313, Donald C. Coggins Jr., of South Carolina, to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina; and
3) Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #314, Dabney Langhorne Freidrich, of California, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.
