The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, November 16, 2017.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #300, Joseph Otting, of Nevada, to be Comptroller of the Currency, post-cloture.
At 11:30am, there be 30 minutes of post-cloture time remaining on the Otting nomination followed by a vote on confirmation of the nomination.
Following disposition of the Otting nomination, the Senate will vote on the pending cloture motions with respect to the following nominations:
1) Executive Calendar #313, Donald C. Coggins Jr., of South Carolina, to be United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina
2) Executive Calendar #314, Dabney Langhorne Freidrich, of California, to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.
If cloture is invoked on the Coggins and Langhorne nominations, the post-cloture time will run consecutively. Discussions continue on a path to complete actions on the nominations during Thursday’s session.
