8pm roll call vote on Wyden motion re: middle class tax cuts

The Senate agreed to proceed to H.R. 1 by a vote of 52-48. The bill is now pending. By consent, at 8:00pm, there will be a vote on the Wyden motion to commit regarding middle class tax cuts. Text of motion can be found below. Following the vote, Senator McConnell will be recognized. We expect at that point he will offer the a substitute amendment.

           TO REPORT THE SAME BACK TO THE SENATE IN THREE DAYS NOT

           COUNTING ANY DAY ON WHICH THE SENATE IS NOT IN SESSION WITH

           CHANGES THAT, ONE, ARE WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF SUCH

           COMMITTEE AND, TWO, ELIMINATE PROVISIONS THAT WOULD RAISE TAXES

           ON MILLIONS OF MIDDLE-CLASS TAXPAYERS.
