Senate in debate only on H.R.1, Tax Reconciliation

Senator McConnell asked unanimous consent for 30 minutes of debate equally divided, and that at the end of that 30 minutes the Majority Leader be recognized. Senator Wyden reserved his right to object, explained his reservations, but did not object. 

The Senate is now in a period of debate only for 30 minutes. At the end of that time, if the text of the Republican amendment is not available, we expect that there could be another consent request by Senator McConnell for additional time for debate only.
