Agreements on West (Defense) and Compton (HUD) nominations

At a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for consideration of Calendar #193, the nomination of Owen West, of Connecticut, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense. There will be 30 minutes for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination.

At a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for consideration of Calendar #241, the nomination of J. Paul Compton, Jr., of Alabama, to be an General Counsel of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. There will be 2 hours for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination.
