Following Leader
remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to concur in the
House Message to H.R.195. As a reminder, tonight
Senator McConnell moved to concur in the House amendment with a further
amendment (Feb. 8 CR/CHIP) and filed cloture on the motion. If no agreement can be reached, the cloture vote
would occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Monday.
As a result of cloture being
filed, there are filing deadlines for first and second degree amendments with
respect to H.R.195 (CR). The filing deadline for first degree amendments is
1:00pm, Sunday, and the filing deadline for second degree amendments is one
hour prior to the cloture vote, if cloture is invoked.
