Roll Call Vote on cloture on Powell (Fed Chair)
At
2:33pm, the Senate began a 15 minute roll call vote on the motion to invoke
cloture on Executive Calendar #594,
Jerome H. Powell, of Maryland, to be Chairman of the Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System.
If cloture is invoked, there is
a chance we lock in the vote on confirmation of Powell and cloture on Azar for
5pm.
