Cloture filed on Defense Appropriations
The Senate has turned to the
consideration of the House message to accompany H.R.695, Defense
Appropriations. Senator McConnell moved to concur, filed cloture on the motion,
and filled the amendment tree. The cloture vote is expected to occur one hour
after the Senate convenes on Thursday, unless an agreement can be reached.
