Following leader
remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #287, S.2155, Economic Growth, Regulatory
Relief, and Consumer Protection Act, with the time before the cloture vote
equally divided. At 11:00am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke
cloture on the motion to proceed to S.2155, followed by a vote on confirmation
of the nomination of Executive Calendar #536, Terry Doughty, of
Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of
Louisiana.
The
Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
