Following
leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume
consideration of Executive Calendar #539, Claria Horn Boom, of Kentucky, to be
US District Judge for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky,
post-cloture. At 12:10pm, there will be a roll call vote on confirmation of the
Boom nomination.
Following
the vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus
meetings.
At 2:15pm
there will be a cloture vote on the Ring nomination.

Senate reached an agreement that at a time to be determined, there will be 10
hours for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of Executive
Calendar #376, Carlos G. Muniz, of Florida, to be General Counsel, Department
of Education.
