Roll Call Vote on the McConnell motion to proceed to S.J.Res.57
At 2:15pm, the Senate began a
15 minute roll call vote on the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.57, a joint
resolution providing for Congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by
Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection relating to
"Indirect Auto Lending and Compliance with the Equal Credit
Opportunity Act".
By a
vote of 50-47, the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.57 was agreed to.
There
will be up to ten hours of debate equally divided prior to a vote on passage.
