The Senate stands adjourned

Following leader remarks, the
Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #608, Dana Baiocco, of Ohio, to be
a Commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, post-cloture.
The filing
deadline for second degree amendments relative to the House Message to
accompany S.2372, VA Choice, is one hour prior to the cloture vote.
There will
be two roll call votes at noon on Tuesday—confirmation of the Baiocco
nomination and cloture on VA Choice.
Following
the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly
conference meetings.
