were confirmed, the first (Chair of FDIC) by a vote of 69-24 and the second
(Member of FDIC) by voice vote.
At 12:46pm, the Senate began
a 10 minute roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive
Calendar #618, James Rudolph Evans, of Georgia, to be Ambassador to Luxembourg.
