The Senate stands
adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, June 18, 2018.
Following Leader remarks, the
Senate will resume consideration of H.R.5515, National Defense Authorization
Act, as amended, post-cloture.
All post-cloture time will
expire at 5:30pm. During Monday’s session it will be in order for Senator
Sanders, or his designee, to raise a CBA point of order that lay against
amendment #2282 (substitute) on the bill, H.R.5515, as amended.
Today Senator McConnell made
a motion to proceed to Calendar #449, H.R.5895: Energy and Water, Legislative Branch, and Military Construction
and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, 2019.
He then filed cloture on the motion to proceed. That cloture vote will occur
upon disposition of NDAA.
