The Senate stands
adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, June 28, 2018.
Following Leader remarks, the
Senate will resume consideration of H.R.2, Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018.
As
a reminder, during Wednesday’s session Senator McConnell filed cloture on the
Roberts substitute amendment #3224 and on the underlying bill, H.R.2. If cloture is invoked, amendments must be
germane and timely filed.
The
filing deadline for first-degree amendments is 1:00pm. The filing deadline for
second-degree amendments is one hour prior to the cloture vote.
Roll
call votes in relation to the Farm Bill are expected during Thursday’s session.
