Schedule for pro formas and Monday, July 9, 2018
The
Senate stands adjourned. There will be pro forma sessions with no business
conducted on the following days and times:
Friday, June 29th at
8:30am
Tuesday, July 3rd at
9:00am
Thursday, July 5th at
1:00pm
The
Senate will then convene at 3:00pm on Monday, July 9.
Following
Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume
consideration of Executive Calendar #836, Mark Jeremy Bennett, of Hawaii, to be
United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit
Cloture
was also filed on the Benczkowski (Assistant AG) and Ney (GC of DoD).
If
cloture is invoked on any of the nominations, there would be up to 30 hours of
debate prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination before moving to the
next cloture vote.
