The Senate stands adjourned
until 10:00am on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Following leader remarks, the
Senate will resume consideration of the House message to accompany S.756, the
legislative Vehicle for the First Step Act (Criminal Justice Reform),
post-cloture.
The Senate will recess from
12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
The time during adjournment, recess,
morning business and leader time will count post-cloture.
Senator McConnell filed
cloture on Executive Calendar #1042, the nomination of Joseph Maguire, of
Florida, to be Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. The cloture
vote will occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Wednesday or upon
disposition of the motion to concur with further amendment (Criminal Justice
Reform), whichever is later.
