Schedule for Wednesday, January 30, 2019

The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.1, Strengthening America's Security in the Middle East Act of 2019, for debate only.

During Tuesday’s session, Senator McConnell filed cloture on his amendment #65 (sense of Senate re: US forces withdrawal from Syria and Afghanistan). The second degree amendment filing deadline is one hour prior to the cloture vote on the McConnell amendment.

There will be no roll call votes during Wednesday’s session. The cloture vote on the McConnell amendment would occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Thursday unless an agreement can be reached.

Pending amendments to S.1

1)      McConnell amendment #65 (sense of Senate re: US forces withdrawal from Syria and Afghanistan).
