Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #15, Allison Jones Rushing, of North Carolina, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Rushing nomination.

1) Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #15, Allison Jones Rushing, of North Carolina, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.
During today’s session, Senator McConnell filed cloture on the following nominations:
1) Executive Calendar #15, Allison Jones Rushing, of North Carolina, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit;
2) Executive Calendar #17, Chad A. Readler, of Ohio, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit;
3) Executive Calendar #18, Eric E. Murphy, of Ohio, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit; and
4) Executive Calendar #11, John Fleming, of Louisiana, to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development .
If cloture is invoked on any of the nominations, there would be up to 30 hours of debate prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination, before proceeding to a cloture vote on the next nomination.
