Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #362, Peter Joseph Phipps, of Pennsylvania, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit.
During Thursday’s session, Senator McConnell filed cloture on 4 Treaty Documents (re: Spain, Swiss Confederation, Japan, and Luxembourg). The filing deadline for first degree amendments to the Treaty Documents is 3:30pm on Monday.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Phipps nomination.
