Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #362, Peter Joseph Phipps, of Pennsylvania, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit, post-cloture.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:00pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At 3:00pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Phipps nomination. Following disposition of the Phipps nomination, there will be an immediate second vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #1, Treaty Doc. No. 113-4, The Protocol Amending the Tax Convention with Spain.
