The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #555, Jovita Carranza, of Illinois, to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration, post-cloture. At 12:15pm the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Carranza nomination.

The Senate will recess following the vote until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

Cloture has been filed on the following nominations. The cloture petitions will ripen on Wednesday.

1.      Executive Calendar #329, Matthew H. Solomson, of Maryland, to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims

2.      Executive Calendar #462, Eleni Maria Roumel, of Maryland, to be a Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims

3.      Executive Calendar #525, Michael George DeSombre, of Illinois, to be Ambassador to Thailand
