The Senate stands adjourned until 1:00pm on Friday, January 31, 2020.

 

Following the prayer and pledge, the Senate will sit as a Court of Impeachment for the trial of Donald J. Trump, President of the United States. Pursuant to S.Res.483, there will be 4 hours of argument equally divided between the House managers and President’s counsel.

 

Additional deliberations are possible prior to a roll call vote on the question “shall it be in order to consider and debate under the impeachment rules any motion to subpoena witnesses or documents?”.

 

Additional roll call votes are possible during Friday’ session.
