Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Calendar #357, S.2657, the American Energy Innovation Act.
During Thursday’s session, Senator McConnell filed cloture on Murkowski substitute amendment #1407 as modified, and the underlying bill S.2657.
The filing deadline for first degree amendments to the substitute and bill is at 3:30pm on Monday.
The cloture petitions on the pending substitute amendment and underlying bill will ripen at 5:30pm on Monday.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Murkowski substitute amendment #1407 as modified. If cloture is not invoked, and no further agreement is reached, the Senate would vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the underlying bill S.2657.
