Pro forma sessions through Monday, May 4, 2020
The pro forma sessions have been extended through Monday, May 4th. The pro forma sessions will occur on the following dates and times:
Monday, April 20th – 2:00 pm
Thursday, April 23rd –5:30 pm
Monday, April 27th – 8:00 am
Thursday, April 30th – 1:00 pm
When the Senate adjourns on Thursday, April 30, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, May 4, 2020.
On Monday, following Leader remarks, the Senate will consider Executive Calendar #556, Robert J. Feitel, of Maryland, to be Inspector General, Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Feitel nomination.
If an agreement is reached to pass additional legislation related to the COVID response prior to May 4, the Senate could break into a pro forma session by unanimous consent and pass legislation.
