The Senate will convene at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Following leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #111, the nomination of William R. Evanina, of Pennsylvania, to be Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.
On Monday, Senator McConnell filed cloture on the Evanina nomination. The cloture vote is expected to occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Wednesday, May 6th. We expect this to be the next vote of the week. Another message will be sent when the vote is scheduled.
