The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #656, James H. Anderson, of Virginia, to be a Deputy Under Secretary of Defense. At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Anderson nomination, and if cloture is invoked, the vote on confirmation will be at 2:15pm.

Upon disposition of the Anderson nomination, there will be an immediate cloture vote on Executive Calendar #644 Drew B. Tipton, of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. If cloture is invoked, at 4:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Tipton nomination.

Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:

1.     Executive Calendar #656, James H. Anderson, of Virginia, to be a Deputy Under Secretary of Defense.

2.     Executive Calendar #644, Drew B. Tipton, of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

3.     Executive Calendar #697, Michael Pack, of Maryland, to be Chief Executive Officer of the Broadcasting Board of Governors.
