Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #697, Michael Pack, of Maryland, to be Chief Executive Officer of the Broadcasting Board of Governors. The cloture motion on the Pack nomination will ripen at 11:40am, with 20 minutes of debate under control of Senator Menendez prior to the vote.
At 11:40am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Pack nomination, and, if cloture is invoked, the vote on confirmation will be at 1:30pm.
