The Senate stands
adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, June 11, 2020.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #75, H.R.1957, the legislative vehicle for the Great American Outdoors Act.
There is a filing deadline for 1st degree amendments to the substitute and the underlying bill at 1:00pm. The filing deadline for 2nd degree amendments is one hour prior to the cloture vote, if cloture is invoked.
As a reminder, during Wednesday’s session Senator McConnell offered McConnell for Gardner substitute amendment #1617 and filed cloture on the amendment; he filled the amendment trees (with date change amendments) and moved to commit the bill to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources with instructions; and filed cloture on the underlying bill.
Absent an agreement, the cloture vote on the substitute amendment would occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Friday, June 12th.
Roll call votes are possible during Thursday’s session of the Senate.
